Park Hill Junior School

Park Hill Schools' Association (PHSA)

We all want a wonderful school experience for our children, and a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) works with parents, carers, teachers and school staff, to help create an environment in which kids can enjoy themselves and thrive.

The Park Hill Schools Association (PHSA) is the PTA for Park Hill Infants and Park Hill Junior Schools, which is a registered charity aiming to:

  • help to create a supportive school community
  • welcome parents and carers to become more involved
  • raise funds to help enrich the school for students.

To do this, the PHSA has a team of enthusiastic volunteers working to create memorable events and raise money that the schools can put towards useful resources.

How can you get involved in the PHSA Supporters Group?

As a parent or carer of children at either Infant or Junior school, you are automatically a member of the PHSA. We know that our school community’s talents are vast and varied, and we have so many ways that you could help - even if you have younger children at home, or only a small amount of time.

Could you come to a meeting, help set up an event, serve food or design a poster? Perhaps you have a professional skill you could help us out with? You don't have to come into the school; many of our volunteering tasks can be done from home.

Please contact your Chairs the PHSA team at phsa.croydon@gmail.com or any of your committee members if you spot them in the school grounds.
We are always happy to chat and welcome you to join the PHSA Supporters Group!

What is the money used for?

We will continue to keep this webpage updated with information about projects that the money is being used for at both schools. In this past, PHSA funds have gone towards: Storage sheds, signs, phonics books, reindeer visits, and a playhouse at the Infant school, and new hall lighting, more tablets for classrooms, improving the reading shed, and providing more water fountains at the Junior school.
